gluten free shopping: costco wholesale
-Crunchmaster, rice crackers, the box actually says Certified Gluten Free.
-Riceworks Gourmet Brown Rice Crisps, labeled wheat and gluten free.
-Kozy Shack, rice pudding, not labeled on the box, but labeled gluten free on the individual cups.
-Freybe, gourmet and specialty deli meats, labeled gluten free. (only British Bangers are not gluten free)
-Grimm's Fine Foods, packaged meats, labeled gluten free and lactose free.
-Silk, soy milk, not labeled gluten free, we posted about it here.
-Balderson Cheese Company, we posted about it here.
one of the shopping features at Costco are the many sampling tables set up where you can try various foods and beverages, and lucky for me the last time I went one of the tables was serving Kozy Shack rice pudding! finally, a store sample I could actually try, so I tried it five times!
if you shop at Costco and find other gluten free products not mentioned here, please leave a comment and we will update the list. shopping at Costco is not everyone's cup of tea, but the savings are worth it, and saving on gluten free is even more incentive. Andrea.

Yeah COSTCO! I emailed COSTCO when I returned from a trip to the States because they carried big bags of Mareblu Naturals trailmix (yummy!). I was wondering if our stores would carry them. (You can purchase these trail mixes in small bags at Capers or Choices, but they are very expensive.) I also thanked them for the gluten free products they do carry. Hey, I figure the more they hear from Celiac customers, the more likely they will be to carry products that we will purchase.

Our Costco in Ontario carries Pacific Natural Foods chicken broth that is gluten free, according to Pacific's website. It's good, too.
