recently Delainy has started something new that we think is brilliant—her take & bake items! you can order frozen pizza crust, cinnamon buns, sausage rolls, and cookie dough online. all you need to do is defrost, and in the case of the pizza crust and cinnamon buns, let them rise, then bake! I also think her prices are very reasonable, especially considering Delainy implements sustainable, organic, nutra farmed, free range, and unsprayed ingredients.

Have you been to My Local Cafe on West 10th? Apparently, they serve gluten-free grub.

i have heard that they have a few gluten free items, and andrea and i will plan to try it. i wonder why their menu has no mention of anything gluten free. quite frustrating but we will get to the bottom of it.
by the way, you had suggested the tomato cafe awhile ago, and andrea tried it but thought it was hard to navigate the menu and there wasn't much to eat there. what do you usually order? - May 24, 2010 at 5:57 PM

I just let the server know I am a celiac. The server said most things are gluten free or can be made gluten free. I have had the smoked salmon omelette, westcoaster salad, the fish entrees,... If there is ever a question about an item, the server has asked the chef. They are aware of cross contamination as well.

I just ate at "My Local Cafe" for lunch today. They seems to have lots of gluten-free stuff available including a good looking gluten-free pizza. I had the Quinoa salad and chocolates for dessert, both great and apparently gluten-free. I'm curious to see what you guys think?
